Default Event picture - Radio Radio show

Radio Radio
Caméra Canon EOS REBEL T2i
Exposition 0,002 sec (1/500)
Ouverture f/1.8
Longueur focale 50 mm
Vitesse ISO 3200

It was a really low light situation, and I went at this by instinct... Some part of me loves this for all its spooky-ness, even if it's probably a technically bad shot. Anyway, hit or miss? Any tips on event photography, parties, shows, and other low-light situations? Were my settings about right?

I like it.

Looking at your settings, I think you could have got away with 1/250, and ISO 1600.

I like the lighting here, especially the red halo of sorts that backlights the subject. My only suggestion is to crop the photo on the left so that the bright spot at the top-left of the image isn't in the shot anymore. Other than that, I think you have a good shot here.
