Default Turning 1

My girl is turning 1 on saturday so i did her pics on monday. What do you think of this shot? She was so interested in everything else i had a hard time getting her to look at the camera/me & smile! There are other a few others if you want/have time to CC aswell. thanks

she's very cute and this is a nice picture.
there are 2 things that bother me here: it's not straight and the balloon is cropped.
the problem is you can't straighten it more with out loosing even more from the balloon, unless you've got the photoshop skills to straighten it and then fix the balloon.

these are issues but they are not huge.. it's still a lovely picture.

Very cute, just not sure about the location find the wall very distracting for a portarait you need to consider every thing thats in the image.

They grow up fast so keep shooting.

Yeah I agree with John in that the background is distracting as it's hard to seperate her from the pattern of the bricks...they both compete for my attention with the bricks coming out on top.

Apart from that I think its a wonderful and cute picture!

I think this either in a studio with a plain white background, or with a very blurred background outside would create a outstanding photo!

Hi- First off shes adorable. Mine was there once and now attending 3rd year at UVA.
The only thing that bothers me is the brick wall. It distracts from the subject and makes the picture busy. Just her and the balloons. would be powerful. Just my humble opinion.
