Default 1st time Wedding Photography

This is a picture from my first wedding gig.. (Free wedding shots to help me and help them).They didn't know shot was being taken.. Would like to know what others think, what I could do to make better?
Canon 60D
Program: AV
Flash did not fire
50 mm f2.2
1/40 sec
ISO 1600

I'd crop the image from a tad to the right of the mirror, a tad to the top and show a little of the mantle below - otherwise there's too much distraction and unnecessary stuff cluttering the image. However, it's going to be a bit soft as you took it at 1/40th and if I'm guessing right, without a tripod.
