Default Addis Ababa - Entoto

Interested in getting feedback on composition, etc. - toning, etc is via Aperture. I wanted the clothing to 'blend' with the background.

Used a basic point and click. Have other dslr's but prefer the immediacy of a smaller camera.

Canon IXUS 130
Lens: 5.0-20.0 mm
ISO: 160
Aperture: 2.8
Shutter Speed: 1/1000

...etc

The picture of the boy alone tells me nothing, is he laughing, is his sitting on a step waiting, is he standing up... the image just doesn't say anything to me...

It is very "in your face" and evoke an emotion - I just wasn't sure what that emotion was....

This picture is a bit interesting for me because I guess outside of the technical part of this- the boy's hair looks so nice but yet his nose looks like it hasn't been cleaned all day...is this street photography or a person you know .... If so, please don't take offense. The shirt under the jacket is hanging which is a distraction.

But the color, I like. I think if you made the aperture higher in Number, it would have been clearer and the negative space on the right could be cropped out.
