Default My baby boy

Hello again, my 2nd attempt to capture a portrait, this time it's a picture of my son. I would like to ask if my crop is okay, the tone of his skin, the clarity, exposure and composition of my picture. DOF works in this picture?

Exif data
Camera Canon EOS 500D
Exposure 0.025 sec (1/40)
Aperture f/4.0
Focal Length 60 mm
ISO Speed 800
Exposure Bias 0 EV
Flash Off, Did not fire

He's very bluuuuuuue. You might want to check your white balance and try it again.

Hi try setting your wb to 'flash' for natural daylight images and see how you get on

You have done well with such a low shutter speed. Try to keep it over 1/60th sec for hand holding and you will find your focus improves.

Thanks for the feedbacks, il try to experiment the white balance of my camera. I am a bit confused if I will go for a warmer or colder tone in a baby face. Which one do u think is better?

This could be fixed easily in post without having to do the whole shoot over. It's a good shot otherwise. I hope you don't mind but I edited it for you.

I like it better with the warmth too. Sweet baby you've got there.

Hi, please could you explain the steps you took so the OP has some idea of how to correct this?
