I would love feedback. I'm new to photography and new to editing and trying to learn it on my own. Any constructive feedback would be appreciated!

Welcome to DPS. That's a pretty good shot. The eyes are quite sharp.

Great picture! What is your exif data for it? The eyes are so sharp and blue!

Default Question

I'm not sure what exif data means? This just goes to show how green I am!

Welcome to DPS

Wow you are off to a cracking start.

It looks as though you have shot side open ie at a large aperture (small number). This will be on your exif details which tell you shutter speed, aperture, lens etc. Do find them, as it will help with peoples critique

Your lighting is good (the facial features are nicely defined), your exposure is good and he is a delicious mess . The right eye is very slightly soft if you want a nit pick to improve, but the only way you would have got that right at wide open, would be if both eyes were dead level to the camera.

Tiny bit of background left in lower left arm if you are going to print.

Great job
