Exposure, DOF, color and focus all very good. Mass of hair, not so much. Either all wet and slicked back or dry and brushed out would be better. She is a pretty young lady and will be a beautiful woman some day. Also, the straight on pose is boring, turning the face right or left at about 45 degrees would help to create interest.

I disagree with Sanders on a few things. I like the framing you captured here. And as for the hair, there’s no particular way it “should be“. You’re the photographer, you capture what you like and feel. But, his suggestion may or may not make your image better. Again, that’s up to you. Anyway, I like the feel of what you captured here. I will say the image might look a little better if the colors were bumped up a bit. Perhaps a little more contrast might also bring a little more life to the colors in the image, because as it stands, it looks a little flat in my opinion. Overall a good shot with many different ways to processing this image. May I suggest a black and white conversion? I’d love to see it.

I think there is too much room at the top of the frame. I try to put the eyes in the upper third usually. She also appears to be a little off center, but not enough to be firmly in the left third.
