Default Maternity Shot

I did a maternity session, my first session ever, for some friends for free. I was wondering about this photo. I want to know if the angle is to weird and distracting and if their faces being blurred but the belly being in focus is also too distracting and should have been the other way around. And anything I could have done to improve this shot? Besides not shooting in complete auto

you should include youexif data...
I think the pose/angle is fine. Its probably not the one for the wall print but it certainly can round out a nice group of shots. I think the focus point is fine as well. It is a bit dark towards the bottom, no detail in a good portion of the lower part of the frame. The flower in the hair maybe a tad over-saturated, it's a real eye catcher and I don't think you really want it to have so much attention. One of my first thoughts was this image might look very nice as a B&W.

I must agree with zona i think this photo would turn out great as a B&W.

I like the angle and composition as well. The only critique I have is personal preferenc and it's that it is slightly bluish, or on the cool side, like the white balance was set to sun rather than shade. But otherwise it's great!

I like the shot too. It's a different angle that I usually see and I think that makes it fresh. I like how the hands are together and in focus in the foreground on the bump. It speaks of unity to me (just personal opinion there...) I do agree with the B&W suggestion.
