Default Street Photo of Homeless Woman

This is my first post to this site. Yesterday I decided to head to downtown San Diego, and capture some images of the people living on the streets. This lady is the third one I came across that morning. Would appreciate any feedback.

Camera: Canon 7D
Lens: 24-105L

Thank you!

I like the way you focused on her eyes at the cost of cropping the top of her head off. Her smile tells the story -- Resilience. The faces of the homeless always tell a story.

Nice capture, it really does tell a story. Im a big fan of b&w portraits, so just for fun I took the image and converted it to b&w. I didnt save it or anyting, but I think it looks really good in b&w you may want to try it.

I like the idea you've got here. However, contrary to what Phillydog1958 stated about the focus on the eyes ... I don't see it. The entire face looks too soft. The detaill in her teeth, especially, and througout here face is gone. Maybe it was camera-shake, but since you provided very little exif data, it's hard to say.

Yes, I like the shot as well, but I agree with o.pulido in that her face looks a bit too soft.
