Default My Baby

This is Octavia...the youngest of 8. She'll soon be a big sister, but for now, she holds the crown! CC is appreciated on anything you see (I really don't know what to ask for specifically...just love seeing how others view these photos as it helps me learn and gain perspective).

Stats:

Canon 5Dii + 70-200mm 2.8L II shot @ 150mm
ISO 1600
F-2.8
1/400
Natural light only, no reflector

Composition...only so much you can do with a newly turned 2 year old who won't sit still (she had made a game of getting up and bolting around the corner, wanting to be chased, then sitting back down just to do it all over again LOL). She's hiding behind a dried leaf in this pic, but I think her eyes tell the story...

I'm fan of photos with centered subjects, and wide angles, even though some people talk against it, so that's what I like about this. The black and white is nice. You're obviously a professional photographer, so I'm not sure what else I could critique on! Good shot.

She's a doll Lisa. Brought a smile to my face, seeing her hiding hers lol. Love that lens you used. I don't see anything I would change on that shot. Nice, thanks.

I like this picture a lot - the clarity, her expression and the black and white works great in this shot. Well done.

I actually (for once!) have a bit of CC. I'd just like to see it cropped in a bit tighter overall, and mostly from the right - the long line in the sidewalk leads my eye directly away from her and out of the frame. Other than that...I got nuffin'.

I agree with Susan on the tighter crop. She gets lost in the scene. Beautiful tonal range and as usual nicely focused. See if you can dodge that back doorway down a stop or two.

Yep, just a tiny crop would turn this from a 99/100 photo to a 100.

Absolutely beautiful in all other aspects!
