Default My daughter Serena- edited

Please give me advice on how I can imporve this image. I tried to tone down the redness around the nose and ears by decreasing saturation of red and orange in the picture but am unsure if it still looks natural. Any other constructive criticism is also appreciated.

LOL, as your edit says you did not read the posting rules, next time provide us more exif data rather than the camera you have been used, like giving as the values of your shutter speed, aperture, ISO, in that way we can fully help.

You have a lovely daughter and I commend for your composition and well framing of your subject, it is a good shot but it a have a lot of things that can be done to improve and to look aesthetically pleasing.

Your subject is very blown out, maybe you are trying to kill the backlightings, or you just overly dodge her face in post processing, while overexposing her face to much it become so unreal and very flat, so next time, adjust your lightings in which your background and the subject will blend in to create a dimensional feelings.

there is a bit blurriness of the image, maybe due to motion blur, to eliminate motion blur, it is necessary to instruct your subject to stay in their feet (which is not possible to kids), so have fast shutter speed with enough lightings to have a well exposed image,

The eye is well focused but not strongly emphasized because her face is overexposed.

If you can post more of the EXIF data you will have more comment regarding the technical aspects, there is a lot of people here in DPS that is very helpful...Keep on shooting.

Beautiful little sweetheart! You got some great CC above...I agree that she is looking pretty bright and if you brought the exposure down on her, there would be more texture to her skin, etc. I'd like to see that. For me, the background is pretty busy but it's not a major distraction. Do you have any with eye contact?
