I love it!! great expression and great feeling. the noise, the B&W and shallow DOF really helps with the mood.
just one thing - the blurry thing on the right needs to go.

Default Newbie too

It my first time here too so I thought this would be a good place to start. I just purchased the 50mm lens and I love the results I am getting. The expression in the photo is great. I think it should have some degree of noise/grain but it may be a little much, especially what shows up in lower left corner. DOF works too. It brings the attention to their expressions but am by no means an expert.

I agree with the blurry thing having to go. It keeps drawing my eyes to it.

Cute pic tho.

If you can post the actual image here, you might get some additional helpful replies. As it is, it's difficult to go back and forth between your link and this forum.
