It can be tough to follow a wiggly 1-year-old around with a portable strobe, but how is the lighting here? Any other comments you'd like to make about this image are also welcome. Thanks in advance for your helpful comments.

lighting is good

I like the directional lighting and the exposure is good, but I think the shadow on the right hand side is at odds with the other two thirds and as such is distracting. Whether a little nudge in the tone curve to lift the shadow and dark may help here, or perhaps the strobe being pulled back a half and aperture opened up to compensate might have done the same. Lovely subject matter though!

I agree with MattG - that shadow is only a little distracting otherwise you've done a terrifc job here with that hansome little guy.
