I would like to see the subject lit a little more. Also I do not like the positioning of the arm. When you look at the photo the first thing you see is this white armpit. Since you cannot see the rest of the arm it makes the area look huge and it is really distracting.

The arm thing is a little distracting. Either more arm or go in closer and no arm.

Aside from what's already been mentioned on the horrible crop of the arm; the image looks very flat. Try bumping up the contrast a bit to see what you get. It may even need a little expsoure increase to brighten up the image a bit more.

agreed...needs a curves adjustment to give it a bit more contrast and pop.

New.....what's a curve adjustment? I see a setting for it on my photo editing program but what does it do exactly?
And I agree with the arm thing, it was the very first thing my eye went to.....she has a really great face and it pulls away from that. I do like the way you caught her eyes though

A curve adjustment is a change to the tone cure...in applications like photoshop and lightroom (and I am sure others) there is a graphic representation of the tone bias. SOOC the line is flat diagonal line...adding a curve adjustment will change that straight line to an "S" curve by pulling down the darks and pushing up the highlights. It adds more snap or contrast to the image.

Thanks! I actually just went and tried it out after I read your post and WOW it was really great! Worked wonders on one of my pictures that was too dark in spots!
