Default B/W fit the mood?

Does a black and white do this scene justice? Also, I had a hard time determining if this crop worked....couldn't really find a way for rule of thirds to work, but the angles seem pleasing to my eye....please let me know what you think.....is it okay that she is not looking my way? Thanks.

I think color would have been better for the composition. And her not looking at you gives the picture a genuine feel to it.
But why 2000 ISO?

I like the color version much better than the B/W. And I love that she's looking away from the camera, much more honest and in the moment. As for composition, I would like to see more room on the left side, to show a little more of the water she's playing in.

I like the B/W but that's kind of the mode I'm in right now . I agree that a little more room to the camera left would made it even better.

I think colour all the way with this picture tbh. It has lots of nice colour and isn't "moody" so I dont think it needs to be converted. Instead I would boost the colours and vibrance and go completely in the opposite direction to B&W.

My vote is for the color version. The pastels add to the sweetness that is portrayed... I don't feel as much for the photo when I look at the back and white. Love it in color
