Default Headshot...again!

Ok guys..here i go again with headshot practice!

Mia

I know the crop is tight. I'd like to know if its too warm and if there is too much white in the eyes. This time i used a collapsible white reflector as opposed to an off camera flash....to be honest i didnt want to lug around my flash/camera stand

Exif:
Exposure 0.002 sec (1/500)
Aperture f/2.8
Focal Length 58 mm
ISO Speed 100
Exposure Bias -2/3 EV
Flash not fired

rip it up!

I think you've not had many comments because it's quite a nice portriat.
I don't have a problem with it being this warm, though I would try to see if it looked better a bit cooler.

I don't think the eyes are too white.

One thing I'd say is not have her so central in the frame. Putting her to the right would have played with the nice line of her arm and given more space to the left which I think would have helped.

Seems nice and sharp. I like the DoF used. The bright spot on her back is a little bit distracting, but I'm being picky. I like how the light hits her hair.

All in all a very nice portrait.. doesn't stun me, but better than most I see posted here. Well done.

PS she's hawt.

lol thanks fuzzy..i lub joo so much! I actually dodged that part of her hair..I used the sun like a hair light...i guess i dodged that area a lil too much. Ya, i know about that "stun factor" but its a headshot - i know some make you go "wow" but meh. I just wanted make sure i have the right idea - try to produce something commercially acceptable.

I never know the correctly placement of arms in these types of photograph...im always chopping them off!

hahah ya i know shes hot..we've been friends for years. I took her to the restaurant i manage...she was sitting alone at the bar, sipping her wine..and i watch as she just racked up guys numbers one by one - back to back...it was rather entertaining lol. Her name is Mia..one thing i love about her - shes very humble - her head is never up in the stars

again..thanks fuzzmeister and wal for the comments

I think the lighting is great. The pose seems a little uncomfortable, but that's maybe a subjective thing. Nice image.
