Down on the other side of the world (Aus) it's starting to get chilly, and where I live there
are mainly evergreens, and hardly any evidence of the wonderful usually flamboyant and fiery seasonal change that is Autumn. Except this wonderful hidden little park we found on a little walk ![]() ![]() This one was f/1.8 @ 1/80th, ISO 800 (heavily covered area and sun had gone down). Would've liked to go *at least* 400 as the D60 is dreadful even @ 800 All natural light, I hadn't really planned on photos so I left le strobe+brella at home. Can't remember the exact PP, but knowing me probably just curves, contrast, gradient map on soft light 25% opacity, lightly saturated colourised dupe on soft light :P Oh, and cloned out some dead parts on the leaf on her hair. I really like it, but I would like to hear suggestions on how I could have improved it. It feels *so* close to that professional quality I'm lusting after at the moment just not sure what!Flickr: Lutensticks' Photostream That's the rest of the set for anyone that's interested. Thanks!

Beautiful setting and wonderful pose - she looks just a very slight bit washed out, with that gorgeous porcelain skin against her cream top. I wouldn't change it, though!
If you ever consider going back to try again, this would be a great opportunity to work with shaped bokeh. (My new fascination!)
