So I was grabbing a bite in Brugge when I took one quick photo of the building in front of me. Then I saw it an noticed the guy in the right and all the faces in the windows. I don't remember noticing that at moment. God knows why.
Anyway... I edited the photo a little bit in Adobe Camera Raw since most of the faces were hidden behind the glare of the windows. Now I need help on how to crop it or make better on any way... ![]() ![]() EXIF f/4 Iso: 200 1/4000 18mm with no flash. Nikon D90 with 18-55mm VR. Program Exposure I know it's not a particularly interesting shot.. but is there any way to make it more appealing? Just as big Fuzzy Said

I've not responded because to me this isn't people.. it's a landscape so i skipped right over it.
Plus you've not put exif info which might make some people not want to put the effort in since you didn't put effort to read the rules? Having said that. It's an interesting image that's hurt by the fact it's shot from a very standard (ie boring) perspective. Virtually every touristy shot ever taken of a building/structure seems to be from this sort of angle. Yes, I know not much you can do seeing as you're on the ground yourself, but still. First i'd correct all your screwy angles (not sure of the exact term as I'm not a landscape dude) which causes all your vertical lines to not actually be vertical as the building seems to be leaning. not sure what you can do with the crop seeing as if you crop too much you loose the elements you like (ie man and the faces. I would have gone more to the left, got a more symmetrical position on the building on the left and filled the frame with the two stores of windows with faces in them then corrected the verticle lines. Sadly, not sure there's much to do with this shot at this odd angle. |
