Delving into model photography

So I've decided to adventure into the land of model photography. Not really knowing what to do, I asked a friend of mine to pose for me. These are the results. I've posted one picture here, but the rest can be seen on my photography Facebook page.

Hi,
I like this, lovely comp and position, and interesting stance.
My personal style would be to blacken the blacks. If you use Lightroom, theres a nice slider for that.
It just makes the colours richer, without oversaturating.

nice colors and generally nice a photo.
the lightning is a bit boring and flat, a bit soft for my taste.
I like the pose but you chopped of her fingers.. that's something you should watch next time.
btw, you have better ones on your facebook

Ditto to all the above, I would have her face leaning towards the camera a little closer instead of leaning away from camera against the wall.

Ahhhh, I never even considered keeping her fingers in the shot. But it makes sense! Thanks guys for the tips, they're great!
