I really like this pic, but honestly, I find something weird when I look at it and I think I could improve it with some help. The lady in first line I think is quite original but also annoying, isn't it?

My specific question is about the composition. Do you think it is correct or should I have made something different? Maybe some crop could help?

One last question.... what about the depth of field? some way to improve it?

The foreground objects should generally be in focus and focus should fall off as depth into the picture continues.

Blurry foreground objects, unless they are blown so far out of focus that they're abstract, confuse the brain and block a connection with your image.

The only way to fix this would have been to walk to your left to find a better angle of composition.

While I generally agree with what Kevin said, I do not entirely agree. I think the first girl could work if she were "minimized" in impact (crop all but edge of face out).

My feeling is the real problem is that the in focus subject doesn't say anything specific. For an obstructed face to be compelling it must have very strong emotion...I don't "feel it" here.
