Random Silhouette. Please critique though!

For this shot I used a simple camera. I didn't have access to my rebel t2i so I used a lumix point and shoot. For one... im a kid. twelve. I love photography, have been studying a lot. and this was a random day shot but I think it can be improved. I just can't put my finger on how it can.

Oh and i just realized that it isn't very sharp... Im not used to the lumix and it focuses really slowly so I must not have focused enough...

You have a fantastic eye - there are "technical" flaws, yes, but the composition if great, and that's what really matters! Read up on your t2i's internal light meter and how it works. The metering setting will help you get great silhouette's - and I appreciate that you spelled that correctly!

thanks. i had forgot about the metering. maybe spot metering is better or something...
