Default blue eyes

Took this yesterday evening with the last available light coming through the window. Two questions: 1) is it too soft? I was really trying to get the focus on her eyes. 2) is the lighting on her face ok? Her left side is darker than her right, although I think it seems more extreme depending on the monitor it's being viewed on. The light didn't seem as harsh on mine at home as opposed to the (cheap) work monitor I'm using right now. Thanks for your comments!

What a cutie, gorgeous eyes!

1. It's a tad soft, but not bad. A bit of sharpening (and I mean just a bit, be careful not to oversharpen) could remedy this.

2. I like the lighting ratio - you should have some shadowing to prevent flat lighting. It is, however, blown out on her right side. Did you shoot in RAW? If so, you can recover that in post processing.

Thanks for your input! Yes, I shot it in RAW. I'll go back and tinker with it.
