shooting to the right

Hello,

This is my grandson during an easter egg hunt. I've seen many discussions about shooting to the right so I set exposure +1 1/3 and then backed it off in Gimp. I think the exposure worked well for his face but I see some places are still blown a little. What you all think about the end result? What suggestions do you have for improvement?

Cute shot! IMO the image is blown out a bit on his arm etc but my concern is that the photo looks very green. I think it needs warmed up some and tone down on the green.

ahh, ok.. when I was looking at it I seemed to see alot of red so I backed it off.. what do you think about desaturating it a bit after warming it up?
