Default How do you avoid eye glass glare?

How do I avoid eye glass glare? This particular friend does not like to have her picture taken without her eye glasses. Any suggestions other then removing the eye glasses?

basically it's a matter of lightning.
I've had that with studio lightning at it's not that easy finding the exact angle in which you get the glasses clear and nice so when bouncing of the ceiling I guess it would be pretty much impossible

Well I know I the bouncing the light off the ceiling didn't work so I'm looking for solutions. Thanks anyway.

keep your lights about a 45 degree angle from your lens.

Ask her if she has an old pair and take the glass out of the frame

Ive been wearing glasses pretty much all my life (for the past 40 years). Whenever it is an issue I've always been told to tilt my head slightly -- usually down and a little to the side. I think the main thing is to look for the source of the light and slightly recompose just enough but not so much as to detract from the look you are trying to get.

I know that everyone knows me with my glasses on and that if they were removed I wouldn't even like the results too much.

Hope this helps
Mark

For whatever it's worth, your EXIF data on Flickr says "ISO2: 100". There appears to just be some jibberish by your regular ISO information. Weird.

Thanks, great post.
I have just tilted heads (trial and error) whenever I have had control over the subject.

For candids, you just have to suck it up.
