Default B/W portrait...post processing?

Hey guys just want some thoughts and input on this image, mainly the post processing.
Do you like the look of this image? how would have you done it ( framing, cropping etc etc...)
All help would be great, i kind of like the art house look to it, but that could just be me haha.

Shot at F/2.8, ISO 200, 1/25th second.
Panasonic GF1 with 20mm f1.7 lens.

Well done. I think it is a very striking image. I like the post work, the toning as well as the burning or dodging done to bring out the face/smoke. Well played.

What a great shot, and I love the monochrome treatment!

Do you have a wider shot of this that includes more of him and the house? It would be interesting to see more of the environment surrounding the subject.

Thankyou for your kind comments Zona and graciousness
this shot was taken near a window so the lighting was pretty good (no dodging or burning) all natural light... just played around with contrast, split toning, temperature etc in post processing.
Graciousness i took this picture with intent of creating an emotional shot... so i kind of thought if i stepped back a bit i might get some distracting elements in the shot.
Again thankyou both for your kind comments, it means a lot, and helps me advance in my photography

I like the PP, it gives it a feeling which is great.
the only thing bothering me is that it's not straight.

I like it as well. I think the treatment adds to it nicely. The only thing that bugs me a little is his left arm being sliced by the crop.
