I like your concept; however, the image looks soft throughout -to me, at least. It looks like you intentionally blurred the foreground ( the hand that's cupped upward) to focus on the one behind it ... or on top of it, I think, which is fine, but maybe more attention would be drawn to the intended target if you composed it differently and your focus was spot-on. Also the blurred out bottom right part of the image (that’s part of the bed, I’m guessing) is very distracting for my particular taste. I would come in a little tighter on the framing, and focus a little better on the top hand (focusing on both hands would also work, I think). That’s all I can offer. Great idea, though.

thanks pulido,
I did intentionally blurred the finger, since i was more interested in the back hand's creases, and thought it was taking away the interest from them. I had problem in framing too.. "the pillow" had to be removed, but I realized that if I was cropping it off, it was chopping the fingers further.. Do you think it's alright to have chopped fingers in order to achieve it?? Somehow I couldnt make myself do it... Thanks a million for the comment.. I'll try and improve and improvise and hopefully get back again... cheers.. |
