Default Shot from Shoot with Friend

I would like it if you could critique this shot

How is the composition? Exposure/Lighting? Pose?

Also I would love if you could tell me how to improve my photography.
Thank you all in advance

Ohhh and I know I cut off her shoes a tad. That would be a small mistake on my part which I recognized shortly after taking this

Not real sure the pose does it for me and her belt is so bright my eye immediately went to it instead of her face.

As Ambrosia said, the belt is too bright which is distracting. And even though the overall photo is very bright (almost too bright here), there is a shadow on her face. The pose isn't working and I don't like the position of her hand next to her face.

Tyler, it's a nice shot, and considering you're shooting in possibly the worst kind of light you pulled it off pretty well. I like the rest of the series also. Maybe just a slightly tighter crop off the top a bit, but other than that, you did good. I think for a young photographer, you have a lot of potential, and you'll only get better with time

Tyler, it's sometimes possible to stretch a frame and recover from something like your problem with the tight crop on the shoes. This is a very fast edit just to show you it can be done..kind of a proof of concept. It just should be done a little more carefully than my quick version

I like autofocus's little tweak, I think it does improve the shot in some aspect.
