Default Too Tight of Crop?

What do you think of this crop? I wanted it as a 4x6 for easy printing, but didn't know if the crop was too tight. Any other critique is always welcome.

Personally, I would have included the ear. But I see nothing wrong with the crop and the photo shows the anticipation of the child well. TFS.

Actually, I love the crop.... kinda a peek a boo thing going on there. I also love the lighting on the child. Very nice wrap and transition from highlight to shadow

One thing that does bug me a little is the blown highlight on the top of the cookie monster's eyes. Distracts from the image. It might be brought back in post, but if not, then I would move the crop to include more of the child and less of the top off the cake which is blown out.

Thanks for the input. I'll play around with the blown highlights and see what I can do.
