Three things....
The white balance is way off...everything looks far too yellow. The background is a little distracting, perhaps try moving your subject next a little so the background is a little simpler? Or use depth of field to blur it if you can't to keep the focus where you want it..on the subject. If you have Photoshop of the equivalent you could try removing the background and replacing it. I'd keep the concrete ground though, the lines add a nice touch of perspective. nitpicking I know...but that belt end sticking out is really distracting to me. |

Hi CLR, I've reworked the link a little bit, so that people can see the image in the thread without clicking (More on that here). I've also added the camera metadata, per the critique rules. If you could add some more specific questions that would be great.
In just looking at the image, the hair jumps out at me as being problematic. It would really be better to see both eyes. I'd also probably come in on the top. You have a lot of headroom for no functional reason. Cropping the top will also help the corner-to-corner dynamic you're establishing with the diagonal placement of the tape. I'm not in love with the color treatment, but it does look intentional, so ... yeah.
