Hi, I took this a few days ago, it's of my sister and brother messing around. I've done a bit of light editing and added a filter effect. Feedback welcome, good and bad.

The concept is great, and I love the composition and inversion.

Couple of things however...

There's nowhere near enough light on the subjects, especially the brother; they just look muddied and unclear. This could be a product of how you shot it, ie an absence of flash or enough natural light that wasn't accounted for by adjusting your settings.

Secondly, I like the treatment you gave it in PP, but be careful, because many of these vintaging actions, by blasting the contrast have a tendency to destroy much detail, especially in shadowed areas. Such as poorly lit faces.

Finally, I hope that this post is just the first of many great images like this from you that we'll see. That said, please take a few minutes to read the guidelines for posting in the critique section, and it's much easier for us to help you...

...case in point is this critique. As there is no Exif data submitted, we have no idea what your settings were, and therefore why it looks as it does, and how you can improve on it in the future. If you'd offered that up, it might be as simple as telling you to up the ISO, or use a wider aperture... as it is, we're in the dark.

Thanks for your comment Niresangwa, i didn't realise i hadn't included the Exif data and will double check for it in the future! Glad you like the pic and thanks for the feedback, i'll have a go editing with your recommendations!
