Default Evie's first hike

This is a picture I took of my daughter. I rather like it. I was wondering if the focus was okay...it seems as though it may have caught the carrier instead of her face. Is that a distraction? Thanks for your comments.

just look at those eyes...
you have a slight motion blur that gives the feeling like it's out of focus.
you were shooting at 1/50 with ISO 100, you could have easily bumped up the ISO to 400 to get a shutter speed of 1/400 which would have prevented that blur.

The focus definitely fell on the carrier/mom's fingers, but I also agree with MrJones that you could have bumped your ISO and used a faster shutter speed.

All I have for CC is ditto what they said

For a keepsake to remember this day it is great though , just might not make the best enlargements.
