Blue eyes

There is something bugging me about this shot that I cannot quite put my finger on.
Could be the few glasses of wine that are clouding my judgment, so thought I would put this one out there for some constructive feedback.

The original iris was not blue, and in fact the right pupil is duplicated in the left eye if that has any bearing.

Comments/feedback, as always, are appreciated

I don't really like the selective coloring in general but to put that aside, I think the black line of hair (?) on the right is really really distracting.

I sort of agree. I think if that black line of hair wasn't there this would be a great photo.

She's cross eyed.

I think thats what your seeing. Her left eye is looking right at you, but her right eye is off to the left somewhere.
