Default Sharp or not sharp?

Is this photograph sharp or not sharp? How can I make it better in regards to sharpness?

At the largest size viewable on Flickr, I'd say the girl is sharp. The background has faded out nicely.

While you didn't specifically ask about it, I will say the vignette is a bit heavy for my taste, and there are some blown out highlights in the background that distract my vision from the subject.

I really need to polish up on Photoshop. I don't know how to use it very well. Thanks

I was practicing with a new lens, these were my first shots. I am desperate for models. There was a lot of light coming off the high grass, I need to figure out how to remedy that. Thanks for viewing and commenting.

The subject looks pretty good, though the tree is a little too detailed for my tastes. I probably would've been at 2.8, and put more distance between the girl and the tree, or composed a little differently.
