Hi all,
I have tried to photograph a baby for the first time and would love to get some critique about it. Set on Flickr How does it look? Which ones do you like and why and which are lacking in interest for you? Thank you in advance!

Hi there! You might want to take a look here: Critique Forum Rules
That being said, I took a quick look and IMHO, no, these don't look "professional". After you read the rules and post a particular image for critique with EXIF, I'd be happy to elaborate.

Hi Susan, thank you for your viewing and your comment!
I just reread the rules and it says that I can post a link to a set, which is what I did. regarding the exif data, it's visible on flickr and there's no fixed exif for all the photos there so don't know what exactly to post here.

The rules actually state to post one image for critique and then link to others if necessary.
![]() ETA: You'll have more luck getting critique that way, anyway. Most people don't have the time to go through an entire set; posting one image with pertinent information makes it easier on folks and you're apt to get better and more replies.

None of the photos are particularly interesting to me. In one, the baby's hand is obstructing the face, they are not optimally exposed and they are not sharply focused. The second to last has okay-ish exposure, but it is an awkward angle or something. I would have filled the frame more. The last photo would also be okay, but again, I would have zoomed in a bit more, or possibly, if nothing else, cropped it in PP.
