My other kiddo!

Hello all! My first two posts were of my older son....this is my little newbie....well, I guess not a newborn anymore - in this pic, he was at about 2 months old. My lighting isn't great, I know, but it's what I had to work with for some last minute snaps before bedtime. So, my biggest questions are: did I get the white balance ok? Everything around him was blue, so I can't tell if his face is picking up the blues now or if it's ok. If I mess with it too much, I can tell I get him to orangey or green, so I gave up at this. Also, what can I do about the stupid blanket in the corner? Is there an easy fix? (I'm not very good at editing). I didn't realize it had fallen over until after the picture. I did some vignetting on another copy that I figure looks OK for my album or to print for the grandparents, but if there's another way, I would like to know! Any other suggestions for improvement are definitely welcome! Thank you in advance!
