Default "Pregnant Teen" [sorry about the wrong post before]

What can make this photo better post-production? Also is this shot too tilted? Editing this photo is welcome...

Another thing... I'm sorry about the few threads I've posted before. I've only been using this site two-three days. This time I'm using flickr to show the photo and now that I know to make sure where to post I'm sure we won't have problems like that again. Thanks... here goes.

The hoody and the horizon are the only things that bother me. Maybe if you could a lil more of her face also. Exposure and sharpness are great though.

Oh, and try using a wider aperture to throw the background out of focus and keep the attention on your subject.

Rhiannon, there is a lot to digest in the beginning. Don't get discouraged. Take it at your own pace, that is the beauty of the web and forums in particular.

Now to the photograph. The subject is beautiful so you have that going for you. But, your light is not flattering to her skin, try moving under a tree or taking the photo in the early am or better yet in the hour before it gets dark, but before you have to use a flash. Or an overcast day would work as well. Put her in front of as simple a background as can be found, preferably on that is darker than her clothing. The shirt is fine, but the shorts have got to go! A khaki or gray pair of clamdiggers with the maternity elastic (which the shirt would hide) would look good. Don't cut any joints in the body with the edge of the frame. She would look good with a 7/8 or a full length shot. Be patient and work on one thing at a time until you understand it and can control it. It will come as long as you keep making photographs and want to get better.
