Ok so i am slowly getting my head around all this photography business. i am teaching myself so it is a long process but i still dont know if i am actually doing it right or if im on the right track so i need your help. People are my main subject. went to a party recently and had some cute little subjects to shoot at. I am happy with the photos that i took but still questioning myself? Is the colour and the lighting right, What about the focus and the crop of the photo? I know u guys can help me answer these questions. Thanks for looking.

Oh my! But oh so worth every bit. You are very blessed. The only thing I would change would be to try and get the subject against a darker background. Blond and light skin against a light color doesn't contrast enough. But that is a nitpik to be sure. I think you've done a right proper job there.

Lovely shot. I agree with the above, a slightly darker background, or bump up the contrast levels a little in Photoshop. (or whatever editing program you use).
Id also aim in future to get a little extra space under her chin, but thats just a matter of personal taste. :-) Lovely work, and such a cute subject. :-) |
