I'd like to improve the focus in self portraits which to say the least is pretty difficult. How can I do this? Is the lighting okay? I'm reading Light Science and Magic. I have one speedlight and a 42 inch reflector. I didn't want to use the reflector but after now I think I should have. Is the crop too tight?
I hope I asked all the appropriate questions and posted the appropriate info for a cirtique. If there is something I havent addressed in my questions feel free to critique that as well. ![]() 430EX II through 36 inch umbrella 1/32 camera left litelinks Camera Canon EOS REBEL T2i Exposure 0.005 sec (1/200) Aperture f/5.6 Focal Length 96 mm ISO Speed 100 Exposure Bias 0 EV Flash Off, Did not fire Exposure Program Manual Max Aperture Value 5.0 Subject Distance 2.28 m Exposure Mode Manual White Balance Manual Lens EF-S55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS

Thank you for the critique. The sweater is a bit distracting to the eye. Looks like the sweater has better focus than my face . The top of my head unfortunately was out of the frame. Doing self portraits is frusrating
I'll try again
