Default do these pictures "match"?

I'm trying to work on getting my coloring and processing work down. I want to be able to take a series of pictures and have them all look like, well, a series of pictures!

Untitled-2

NIkon D90
aperture priority mode
f/4.8
1/80
ISO not showing up on my info for some reason! prob either 850 or 1000
no flash!

using the skin tones and the jacket as the reference, they appear to match pretty well...

Looks like a series to me. Why such a high ISO when you were shooting in daylight?

it was actually quite cloudy that day, also, I'm new at all this and I don't really know. ISO isn't one of the setting that pops up on the screen all the time, so honestly, I forget to check it! Bad, bad rookie mistake I know. I'm working on it.

As mentioned above, the skin tones/jacket match well.

I am however finding that the feel of the background in the one on the left doesn't quite match up with the background of the other two. I think it's because of the distinct difference in the dof, rather than the tilt - which doesn't bother me - or the colours - which match pretty well with the other two.

Otherwise I think you've done a really nice job putting these together.

I think they look nice together. My only suggestion (if you are planning to print as a collage or hang them in this arrangement) is to flip the one on the far right so that the boy is "looking" toward the center instead of away form the other pictures.

+1 As it is, he's looking off the page, and distracting me from the other two shots. If you put that image on the left, my natural progression would be to see what he's looking at and then move on to the next image.

At f/4.8, you could have opened up your aperture by quite a bit and lowered your ISO. Noise is going to be evident in your prints at that high of an ISO setting.
