Default City BG Portrait, Cloudy day..

I was in the city over the weekend, attempting to shoot a dog show, (wow that was a sobering experience) While there, found a great little spot, with the city in the background and thought I'd try a couple Portrait's. Grabbed my willing victim and shot a few. Weather was cloudy, overcast and cold, snow/rain as well

Looking for input on over all composition on this one, as well as lighting. I shot it with flash for fill.

1/200
iso 100
f/8

Shot in sports mode cause I am a moron at times

Thanks for looking and the feedback.

I like composition with the cityscape in the BG and blurred just enough so it is not distracting but to me it seems to be a little underexposed and that can be bumped up in PP. Don't take what I say as gospel because I am pretty much a newb.

It's definitely underexposed, and I'd clone out the buildings growing out of her head.

Thank you for the response, I will bump the exp. a tad and try to clone out the buildings, never have been very good at that but guess its time to practice

There is also this one that I did bump the exp already, still have a small building over her head though..

The exposure is definitely better on the one you linked to. I'd still brighten it up even just a tad more, but I tend to like bright photos.

On the second one, the exposure is good but her skin looks a little red to me. I personally don't mind the buildings in the background... it's not as distracting for me.

I'd also brighten them both up and remove the buildings coming out of her head in each one.

Don't have a link, but your best bet is to zoom way, WAY in and do it in small patches, resampling as needed. If you'd like me to have a play, let me know.

Bumped the exp 1.5 stops, increased the contrast and did my best to clone out the buildings..
