Default help with shadows

Hi,
I took this photo on friday, it was around 9-10am but we got a very strong sun. the reflector didn't help that much with the shadows as you can see.
I love this photo, but the shadow on her neck and chest kills it for me.
best way to fix it will be a reshoot but that's not an option at the moment.
any idea how to fix it in PP? I've tried several ideas but nothing gets me that natural look.
any help or critique will be appreciated!

a sample. selected the areas with shadows, put it in another layer, adjusted with curves, and hue and saturation, used layer mask to blend in and fine tuned with clone tool.
i think i overdid it.
