Default He had no choice

I have been asked to do senior portraits this year for a few people. As I am used to landscape pictures, people are a little more challenging. I just purchased my first tripod as I have learned this is a must :-) So I grabbed my 13 yo son and made him pose for me. He was a good sport and once he stopped sticking his tounge out and showing those fancy peace fingers I ended up with this shot. All natural light

Hi Sissy, i think it's a nice picture... i like the wheel and gears of the machines and their shadows... i think it's a good composition... only quibble and this is personal opinion... i dont really like the corner blur vignette... it's fine on the upper left hand side since those machines are further away... but the hand blurred is really distracting and obvious... if you can get rid of the blur in the hands and selectively blur parts of the machine keeping in mind their relative distance, it'll be better imho... or maybe just dont blur at all and see how it goes..

he looks like a western cowboy... just change the clothes and he fits right at home

Thank you for your imput. I was so focused on one certain area that I forgot to remember all the details. Need to remember the whole package not just the face.
