Default Please critique my shot.

Hi Guys,

I'm pretty newbie in the world of photography and I wanted to learn a lot. Please see my images below and provide feedbacks and how I can achieve a better shots and PP.

Below images are post processed but I still feel that there is something lacking on it. I'm not sure if its on post process or should be shot on different angle.

I like the boy in the bottom shot. The eye's and nothing else on the face makes you wonder although I can see him smiling even here. One thing I might have like to see is the shot moved up a bit so you get less of the ground and not cut off the hand and pole and rather have that leading the eye down. What PP did you do?

Th background is very busy and the image of the child gets lost in it. A smaller DOF would have blurred the background and allowed the child to be more visible.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply.

I will take your advise on my next shots. As for the PP, I used photoshop dodge and burns, levels and also Lucis art.

Best,

Yes, I admit that. I can't go much further of my lens. I used 18-200 on that shot. I greatly appreciate your advise. Thank you.

Default blur the background

Hi,

if you had gone in for a shallow Depth of field.. the background wouldnt have been so distracting... else a good shot..
