So this is my adorable nephew, what do you think?? I'm wondering if it might be a tad too blurry (I did that purposely in editing) and what if it was kind of angled? yes, no?

I think it's a nice idea but the main thing that bothers me is the very harsh lightning. while it's very strong in some areas, the hat for example just blends in the background when it's actually one of the main features of this photo.
as for his face, I would have loved to see one eyes peeking out, but that's a matter of taste.
try adding a backlight to separate him from the background.
