The out-of-focus subject in the background has some kind of interaction with the main subject, which is in focus. I think this is good.
To me the long orange object on the right is a bit distracting. Also the horizontal line needs straightening in my opinion. |

This is a very good early attempt with your new camera! The dog's face is clear and well-lit and I too like the way you connect the soft background. I agree with the previous poster that the orange is distracting and I'd also like to see the dog's legs included in the image as well. Looking forward to seeing more of your work! |

yeah, i know the orange is bad. I was just messing around at home. And about the dogs legs, I have a small house and I was pressed against the wall. The only reason I took this is because the dog thought I wanted to play!

Nice shot...It would have been nice to have the dogs leg but since you can't now try cropping the photo more. The background and the orange are distracting...
