Default new to portraiture....

I'm fairly new to portraiture, I'm mostly a nature/landscape kinda gal....or the occasional random product shot. Want to get into doing some portraits so I'm looking for some feedback. I liked these three, but do they mesh as a panel? And how about composition/lighting? Any thoughts? All comments appreciated! Thanks!

I really like the first and second, but I think just the comp for the 3rd is just a little off, I think for me it would have been better to see a bit more of her shoulder in the bottom right of frame, just a little less open area in the top left.
But really I still like them!

I like how there seems to be some hint of interaction between the photos, especially the first and second.

as a panel it works nicely. I might have put the right most photo with the eye contact in the center. It would seem more balanced to me...

All-in-all it's quite nice.
The one issue I noted is that the background in the middle one is much brighter, so it loses some of the uniformity from having three with the same.
I'm fine with the composition of the one on the right, it's different. Different=good in my book.

One other thing is sharpness... they all seem off a bit, particularly the one on the right which is my favorite shot of a very pretty girl.

Again, in the end, you both should be happy, I would simply ensure you nailed the sharpness next time (I'm a stickler for sharpness in portraits!).
