My school is holding a charity fashion show and we got sponsored with various brands of clothings. This was a photoshoot for a local brand in Hong Kong.
What do you guys think of the composition and the framing overall? Furthermore, what do you guys think of the background lighting, is it effective? Lastly, any adjustments you guys would make to this photo during PP? ![]() Exif data: Camera Canon EOS 5D Mark II Exposure 1/3200 sec Aperture f/4.0 Focal Length 95 mm ISO Speed 3200 Exposure Bias 0 EV Flash Off, Did not fire Thanks in advance! Jason

I'd like to see a tighter crop with her face up in the ROT top left area. Being quite back lit, your subject is underexposed...a little extra light on her would have helped. And lastly, I think the bright background is a little busy and competes with the subject a little too much. I like the angle of her pose, and also on the wall she's on...it increases the dynamic appeal of the photo.

In the end, my main comment would be that you need better lighting (or reflectors) on the subject, both to fill in the shadows in the face/jeans, but also to help separate her from the background. Separation from the background is probably the least talked about benefit of using flash (off-camera). I noticed the same in some of the others from your flickr account. The series is quite decent, just felt that the lighting as a whole could use some artificial light to really make things pop since I think you did about as much as you could with the natural light.

I would totally agree with the subject being underexposed (now, that you guys mentioned it...I realized ) and I think I could have used my reflector better as well :P Thank you so much! Jason
