First of all your daughter is very beautiful. The lighting seems to be nice, along with the composition. Although I initially thought the little doll in her chair lower left was kind of a cute juxtaposition, but I found that I kept going back and forth between the doll and your daughter. That said, anything that draws your eye away from your main subject is probably not a good thing.

thank you guys for your kind comments... i just looked at it with a different computer... this time round i can't see the seperation (hair light) well at all... it looks like her hair blend in with the background... i know i have issues with gamma on my macbook that seems brighter than my office comp... i was wondering how others are seeing it? anyone with a calibrated monitor? can you see the hair seperation with the black background?
i'll note the doll next time... i just tot it adds a different thing to the atmosphere of the photos since she likes that doll... i have others without the doll and find some that looks a bit awkward... like she's just standing there with nothing to do... thanx for your comments will definitely look at the other sets with a fresh eye again... any other critique? couple more impressions it gives to others will help too
