Default REDO of so many questions...so little time...

Hi again. Took Bruce's suggestion and cropped the photo. Definately gives it more pop! I am new to working with layers. So this is my attempt at making the background pop a bit more without messing her up. Don't know if line around her is too obvious. Loved stepping out of my box and trying something new though. So what do you all think? Thanx for all the help and any future critique.

I think the image is stronger. (but i suppose that would be obvious) The halo around her is not good however. I am not sure which program you are using but you can try feathering the edge of the selection. Alternatively, instead of cutting her out of the image to adjust the background you could adjust the sky based on color range or use a brush to paint on more saturation ...

Apart from Bruce's comments, the only problem I see now is the very tilted horizon. The crop makes a huge difference though.. Thanks for reposting the edit.

The line around her is very noticeable. And I have to agree with JaxD about the tilted horizon, it makes it feel a bit odd.

Overall I think this shot works much better with the new crop.

Thanx again. Yes I like the crop better and will go back and use a different PP method. Thanx for all the help!

Thanx. Yes I had fixed the horizon in original post. Left it this time for a cool effect but does kinda look like earth is falling behind her.

Thanx. Yes crop does make it pop. And as I just replied above does look like earth is falling. Thanx all for helping!
