Default Taken from Back - Input please! :)

Hi everyone, I am very new to photography and have never had my picture critiqued by any one. I always thought that this picture looks good, but I am just wondering what you think. Is there anything wrong about this picture that I need to improve on for next time? Any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I took this in AV mode with no flash

Hi there and welcome.
You have some nice colors and the framing looks good. For me not seeing the face or what ever he is doing kinda of makes it uninteresting...

i think its nice and clear and i like the setting, but i do agree with the pp that there isn't too much to catch your interest. i also feel a little jarred by the tilted horizon.

Or maybe if you want to go without showing his face try at least showing what he is looking at/ playing with.

Thanks so much for your inputs! I was paying so much attention on the color and how nice the lighting turned out that I forgot that aspect of the picture that you cannot see what he's doing. I will always keep this in mind moving forward!

Also, I think if you did want to him facing away from the camera like that, maybe including more of the story by zooming out might work. I also agree with pp that the tilted horizon throws me off a bit. Great color though!!
